Everyoneinthevillagewascuriousaboutthebox,butnoonedaredtoopenit.Theyfearedthatsomethingbadmighthappeniftheytamperedwithitscontents.Somebelieveditwascursed,whileothersthoughtitheldincrediblesecretsoruntoldwealth.Itbecamethetopicofmanyconversationsandthesourceofmanylegends.
Oneday,ayounggirlnamedLilybecamefascinatedwiththeMysteriousBox.Shewasabraveandcuriousyounggirlwhocouldn'tresistamystery.Lilyspenthoursgazingattheboxandwonderingwhatsecretsitheld.Shedecidedthatshewasnotafraidoftheunknownandthatshewouldfindawaytoopenthebox.

Undeterred,Lilymovedontofire.Shebuiltasmallfireandheldtheboxovertheflames,believingthattheheatwouldtriggeritsopening.Astheboxgrewhot,Lilynervouslywaitedforsomethingtohappen.Justasshewasabouttogiveup,afaintclickechoedfromthebox,andthelockfellopen.
